Dear Cass County Residents,
I have recently read flyers and print material which contain false information and which have been distributed throughout the county regarding some Commissioners and the 1899 vintage courthouse. At no time has the Board of Commissioners discussed tearing down the 1899 vintage courthouse. In fact, there is general agreement that it will not be torn down. The courthouse is only one of a number of issues and some people are making it the only issue. The Board of Commissioners has not voted on the EDC plan and to say in print which way a Commissioner will vote is not only wrong but unethical. Please keep the above in mind when you vote in the August 7, 2018, primary.
